I spent $42 for you guys to break my brake line. Called me and said it had a leak when I know it in fact did not have a leak. Got my truck home and then it did have a leak and started spraying everywhere and now I've spent two days trying to fix my brake line. Called you guys and of course you wouldn't take responsibility for it because it's an older truck. And they said it was leaking brake fluid before when I know in fact it wasn't so that's bout it. Wouldnt recommend

Larry, I am sorry that you felt that your experience was not what you expected. The $40 that you paid was actually for a brake and chassis inspection. While you might not have noticed the rusty brakes lines, they were certainly there. In fact, companies are making complete brake line kits for trucks like yours. Most trucks that are 25 + years old have rusty brake and fuel lines. Finally, the brake inspection did not involve actually moving the brake lines at all. This inspection did reveal over $4,000 worth of work needed on your truck and we discussed that. It is unfortunate that your brake lines (like so many) are leaking. However, we value our reputation and try very hard to take care of the customers but do not accept responsibility for problems that we did not cause. Having only visually inspecting the truck, we clearly did not cause an already rusty line to fracture. Again, I am sorry your expectations were not met during this visit. We do wish you well finding a service facility that can meet your expectations.

Had my car there for two weeks was told it was complete after telling them twice what to do and it wasn’t even really look at still had engine lights on I was extremely nice to these people even gave them a price range of what I had 2000 to 3000 but I recommend the dealer ship I don’t time to have for waiting around!

Michael, I am sorry you feel like you had such a poor experience. I can say that our normal turn around time for vehicles in and out is typically a couple days or less. If you will remember, your vehicle was here for over a week because we were waiting on the intermediate steering bolt that was broken from someone trying to install it and doing so incorrectly. Additionally, I am confused on how we got such a miscommunication on you being under the impression your vehicle was ready? When we would call to discuss each of the three problems you brought it in for, we would not get in touch and your voicemail was not setup. Regardless, we had addressed (at least from an information perspective) two of the three problems. We had hoped to discuss the diagnosis of the 80+ fault codes in the ECU but again, we could not get in touch. Regardless, we are always trying to give our customers the experience they expect and normally succeed. We would be happy to try again should you need additional service or repair needs.

I've been going to advanced auto care now for a few years, and I can confidently say that it is some of the best quality service my car has ever received. The staff at advanced auto are kind and friendly, and when I had a reoccurring issue with my transmission last year that resulted in multiple breakdowns, they even covered the cost of one of my tows back to the shop for an additional, previously missed repair. They continuously go above and beyond to ensure quality care to my vehicle, and they really care about doing a good job and providing trustworthy advice and service. I would recommend advanced auto to anyone on the Bloomington area looking for quality, trustworthy work done on their car.

They have taken great care of my college daughters car for a couple big repairs and priced the repairs at a very reasonable and fair price. Customer service and Dave there are excellent to work with over the phone since we are an hour away
